April 2018- Easter Egg Hunts, TWO!, and Frisbees.

April was busy with Easter, Riley's 2nd birthday (I can't believe he's TWO!), and a quick trip to Boise.  The weather was pretty awesome all month, so we tried to take advantage of that as much as possible.

Riley getting into hunting for Easter eggs.. He didn't have any competition, but totally killed it!

He ate candy as he found the eggs, so he was pretty jazzed/sugared up for these pictures.  You can just see it in his cute face!

Riley rocking a couple of different hats.. We were trying on helmets to try to figure out what size to get him.

Riley's birthday was so much fun this year!  He was so excited to have his own balloons, cake, pizza, and have so many people come and show their love for him.
Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

Opening presents with Dad's help.

M was able to come down for his party.  J had to work, and we missed her so much!

Testing his bike out.. without pants?  At least his head is protected.

These two are such good friends.. It's the best!

Morning snacks and snuggling on the couch.

We skipped town to Boise to see Keith, Rachelle, and B.  We've missed having them so close, so it was good to see the boys together again.
We went to a cool nature park and the boys LOVED running everywhere together.

Bedtime stories with Todd and Rachelle.  I really need to be better about taking pictures!

Sketchpants McGee.  He is constantly climbing everything!

Cutest little Frisbee holder in the land!

March 2018- Thermometers, Cut off sleeves, and Bowl hats.

March was a pretty picture-less and event-less month- which the latter is kind of nice some times. :)

Riley is pretty interested in pretending to take his temperature right now.  We have an armpit thermometer, so that's what he's trying to do here.  I always think he's running a temperature (because I'm always cold), so that's probably why he's always wanting to check too.

Getting out and going to the jumping place- he's getting a little more comfortable and a little less cautious, but still prefers to sit and watch other kids play.

Using the bench in the kitchen to reach things... He's helping himself to a cutie (and peeling it) in this picture.  At least he's resourceful!

I gave him some popcorn seeds and some kitchen tools and he played like this for like 20 minutes.. It was pretty awesome!

Kitchen utensils are now his go-to toys. :)

A cute messy and sticky face.

Another bowl hat.. Man is he cute, or what?!

Reading books to pass the time.  This kid sure loves books!

We had to get new tires for one of the cars, so Riley was pretty excited that they had this train track in the waiting room.  Now he asks to go get new tires all the time.
