July 2018- Sprinkler fun, Zoo, and cute tiny toes

We spent a lot of July running through the sprinklers.  Most evenings we'd go out front and turn on the sprinkler for Riley to get some wiggles out and all of us cool down.
Determining if he's going to run through it, or just turn it off and on.

Learning to control the sprinkler.

First sparkler (with parental guidance, of course!)

We went to the Zoo with Rachelle, and B one VERY hot afternoon.  It was fun, but hopefully next time we go it won't be in the 100's.
Riley has to touch ALL of the buttons everywhere we go.

Riley and B checking out the juke box at the place we had lunch after the zoo.

Cooling down after the zoo with some water guns.

So cute and happy!

Post nap snuggles!

"Riding" in the RZR with Grammy Lyn shooting dinos (Todd)

We were able to sneak away for a mini date night- which included a shaved ice (we waited for like 45 minutes.. it was really good though!) and a trip to Target.  So exciting, huh?  Haha.

Riley, his Spidey, and blanket.

Reading books.. I can't handle how sweet those little toes look!

June 2018- Library toys, hammock time, and 2 flat tires!

We killed a lot of time in June during the hot evenings..

Watching movies and playing at the library

Going to the park and playing on tractors

Swinging at the park

Hanging out in the hammock with Dad

Stealing my spot in my bed

And post nap snuggles were what most of our days looked like this month.

June is my favorite month because that's when the Wood Family Reunion is.  Jen and Dan drive from Illinois to visit, Jason and Tammi fly from Massachusetts, and we all get to spend time together.  (Bryan and Cassie weren't able to make it this year.. It was a bummer- we missed them!)

We did family pictures, which is like herding cats with all of the kiddos.  This is the only one I have right now.. haha.

We spent a lot of time out front riding bikes, wiggle cars, and scooters.

We decided to go hunt geodes out in the middle of nowhere.  Riley and I rode with my parents and M.  On the way out there on the gravel roads we got not only one, but TWO flat tires.  So we had to abandon the Jeep on the side of the road and pile in with Erin in their SUV.  It was definitely an adventure, but we won't be doing it again anytime soon. Haha.

Riley and R playing with the dollhouse and babies. So cute!

Riley passed out in the car and wouldn't wake up, so Grammy took advantage and got some snuggles in!

Grampy taking Riley for a RZR ride.

Riley was weirdly fascinated by the washing machine the whole week.  This is where we looked if we needed to find him... haha.
