December 2020- Gingerbread houses, Tie Dying, and Christmas!

December did not disappoint.  It was less busy than previous years (no Christmas parties), but it was still full of family time.  You'd think after November we'd be sick of spending time together, but we still like each other! 😜

Riley showing off his gingerbread house he made at preschool!

Our sweet gingerbread house.  It was so fun to make it together!

I got to hang out with my mom!!  We went to lunch and went shopping.  They live close by, but because of Covid we weren't hanging out with those outside of our house.  But we have antibodies for a little bit, so we are branching out (but still being safe).  YAY!!

I love sitting in the dark with the tree lights on.  It's so peaceful!

Post bath crazy hair.  The crazier, the better!

We got a Star Wars Lego advent calendar to count down until Christmas.  Riley AND Todd both loved it!

At preschool Riley learned about different countries and how they celebrate Christmas.  It's so neat!

After almost 6 years in our house, Todd built his first fire in our fireplace.

Riley decided he wanted to make tie dye shirts for him and J & M (his birth parents) for Christmas.  Then he decided we ALL needed shirts.

Getting cozy in the storage part of the couch.

Another Christmas craft!

Christmas is here!!

Todd's family has a tradition where they hang up a sheet so you don't spoil the surprise of seeing the Christmas tree and all of the presents before everyone else, so we decided to give it a try this year.  It was fun!

Merry Christmas!!

Trying out his new race car!

My Christmas 'toy'- a Roomba!! 🎉🎉

Getting some wiggles out at the school playground.

We watched Corey and Erin's cat and dog while they went on vacation, and Riley was in HEAVEN.  He absolutely loves cats. It's adorable!

New Years Eve!!

Here's to January 2021!
