June 2021- Family Reunion, Lost Teeth, and Strawberry Pickin'!

June was a BUSY month and it went by so quickly!  Here are the main highlights...

Strawberry picking at our neighbors house!  They were tiny, but SO good.  It was Riley's first time picking strawberries- he decided he's a fan!

We all got our dental checkups done in June as well.  Riley LOVES going to the dentist and is always such a champ!

Speaking of teeth... Riley lost another tooth this month!

We watched Jack for a little bit while Corey and Erin were gone.  Riley loves Jack!

Riley's stuffed animal gang.  The hat is a new addition.. haha.

The Wood Family reunion was the highlight of June!  We rented a cabin  up in Eden, UT and ALL of us were there (minus Big K- he's on an LDS mission).  It was so fun to have the gang there!

In preparation we tie dyed t-shirts for family pictures- my mom was worried about not having time, so we did it at home a few days before.

It was such a beautiful place with amazing views and a horse on the property.  There were enough room for everyone to have their own space, and a garage with a bunch of games for the kids (and adults) to play.  It was awesome!

One of the days we were able to ride the horse.  It was Riley's first time riding a horse (he's ridden a pony before).  All of the kids got a chance to ride- it was awesome!

One of the days we went to a petting zoo and spent a couple of hours feeding and petting the animals.  Both mine and Riley's favorite part was the kittens though.. Oh man, they were cute!

Every night Todd would read a bedtime story to the littles- O, R and Riley (and sometimes Little K and M).  They all loved it!

Riley and R had a few practice sleepovers during the reunion.  I love how much they enjoy each other!

My favorite part was having my sister there!!  It had been two years since the last time we saw each other.  It was heavenly to have her there- she's the best!

One of the family reunion traditions is to rent a boat and play on the water for a couple of days.  It was so much fun (we stayed on the beach most of the time- Riley wasn't too fond of the boat), but we still enjoyed the nice hot weather and the cold water.
Riley living his best life at the lake.

"Surfing".  He was convinced this was the ocean.. We really need to show him the ocean some day!

Playing in the sand

Just hanging out and watching people swim

Riley and his cousins built a pond and spent quite a bit of time trying to keep water in it.. haha.

Well, that pretty much sums up June.  It was a great
