July went by fast, and felt SO busy! (Story of my life, I guess.. 😉) Here are the highlights!
Sparklers for the 4th of July! Riley's still not sure of them.. getting this picture was a struggle.. haha.
Riley went to his first Rodeo and LOVED it. We went with Grammy Lyn, Grampy James, Unlce Bryan and Aunt Cassie. It was so much fun!
Our friends in our neighborhood invited us over to watch their fireworks.. It was a great way to spend the evening- good company and good fireworks!
Riley started T-ball and is getting SO good at it! We've been tossing the ball to him and he's been hitting it like a pro, so next year we'll try to find him a coach-pitch league.
We went to New Mexico to hang out with some of Todd's family! It was a 12 hour drive that we had to do in one day there and one day back. It was so worth it though!

Obligatory state line photo. This was Riley's first LONG 12 hour day in the car and he was a champ. He did so well (considering he asks why it's taking so long when we go anywhere 20+ minutes from our house.. 😂)
We spent a few hours in Santa Fe- it was such a cute town and such a fun atmosphere! We always try to sneak away for some touristy time while we're in New Mexico.

It's seriously so pretty where Mommer and Popper live (Todd's grandparents). It's green, mountainous, and so beautiful!
The kids loved playing "farmer" in the mud. They spent so much time and got SO messy- it was great!
I caught a mud puppy in the pond so we all had to take a look and give him a little pet. He was cute! (Disclaimer: no animals were harmed in the making of this memory)

Of course we had to grab a chimi from Allsups... So good!
New Mexico is always so much fun- but it's SO nice to be back and get back into our routines. School starts up next month, so we need to get back onto some sort of a schedule. Wish us luck! 😁
