October 2021- Baseball, Cousins, and Candy!

October flew by and was full of fun, candy, and time with cousins!

Every year we have a "special day" for all of the nephews that live close- it's our birthday present to them.  It's a huge hit and is enjoyed by all.  We were able to get little K and R's special days in before things got too crazy with the holidays.

Little K snuggling Stella- they both LOVE each other and enjoy the snugs.

R and Riley playing video games.  They have SO much fun together.  I'm glad Riley has a cousin that lives here that's so close to his age.

Todd and the R's going to the arcade.  We went to the arcade with Little K as well.  It was a huge hit!

Todd's aunt and cousins sent a bunch of clothes for Riley- so this super cute outfit was all from them.  He can make anything super cute with that smile though!

We hit the pumpkin patch with Corey and Erin and the boys, then took R for his special day. :)

Todd and Riley made up a game: you pull a crayon from the bag and say the color out loud- the other person tries to sound it out and spell it on the board.  They played for a long time and enjoyed it!

I made homemade chicken noodle soup, but messed up on the noodles so Riley practiced his kitchen skills with them while I made new ones.

Homemade chicken noodle soup is the BEST!

Culvers on the way to grocery shopping- as per usual. :)

Halloween was on a Sunday this year, so it was kind of weird choosing which day to go trick or treating.  We decided to on on Saturday after the Trunk-or-Treat at the church with some friends, then stay home to hand out candy on Sunday.  It worked out great!

Riley was a Halo fighter guy... (not sure what it's called.. haha)

Group shot!

I got a unicorn onesie (you'll be seeing this costume every year.. haha). It was a little too warm to wear it, but I forged on.

Todd was Frita Cowlo (get it?  Frita Kahlo mixed with a cow.. ahahah)

Trick or treating with friends.  They had so much fun!

Twins! My mom made these cute ghosts out of cheesecloth and we got to make the face for it.

Riley's school had a cute costume parade around the school.  It was so fun to see all of the kids in their costumes!  (Riley is the Mario in the middle)

Now it's time for Thanksgiving and Christmas!  I can't believe this year has gone by so fast.. it's crazy!
