Our Love Story!

This love story is brought to you by the one and only, Todd --because he's much better at telling stories.

We met at the plasma center in Rexburg, where Kristen worked.  I had noticed Kristen's pretty face before that day, but had never gotten a chance to talk to her.  That changed on May 24, 2008 when she screened me before I could donate plasma.  We were alone in the booth, and I realized I wanted to get to know her better.  Since it was Memorial weekend, I asked if she had any plans.  When she said no, I asked if she wanted any?  After the LONGEST "Ummmmmmmmmmm" in history, she finally said "Sure." So that night, we went on a double date with my roommate and a girl he had asked out.  We went out to the finest dining establishment in Rexburg (aka Applebees), then we went to a campsite, made a fire, and made s'mores.  This gave us a good chance to get to know each other better.  After that night, it's history!  We have seen each other or talked to each other every day since.
Our first picture together May 2008... look at those fresh faces!

We got engaged Thanksgiving that year down at my parent's house in Southern Utah.  I told her we were going to go geocaching around their house, and had set up my own site where I had hid the ring in some rocks.  I knew she had an idea that this was how I was going to propose, so I took her to three other sites beforehand to throw her off my trail.  When we got to the last site where the ring was hidden, I could tell she wasn't expecting anything.  She was getting close to the ring, so I hurried and got down on one knee, grabbed the ring, and popped the question.  Obviously she said yes!

Just a few minutes after we got engaged!

We were married in April 2009 in the Rexburg, Idaho temple.  We were surrounded by family and friends, and cherish that day where we were sealed for eternity.  That day meant so much to both of us!
